About The Position
Securitas is looking for Healthcare Security Officers to join their team. This role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, and preserving order by enforcing regulations. Security Officers often provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers. Requirements
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Ability to complete patrols
- Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer)
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Nice To Haves
- Prior security/customer service experience is a plus
- If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role
Responsibilities
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Performs frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
- Performs frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Actively monitors the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
- Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
