About The Position

KRE Security is hiring a full-time third-shift Security Officer for a client in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The officer will work Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, conducting exterior patrols and helping maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for the client’s staff, clients, and visitors. The position involves close coordination with client personnel and security teammates, including working in pairs when site procedures require it. The role calls for professionalism, empathy, patience, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm during difficult or unpredictable situations. Security experience is a plus, but the posting emphasizes attitude and work ethic. Employees must be willing to obtain the site-required Phazzer non-lethal CEW certification and complete the required training and certification for assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular exterior patrols of the property, grounds, parking areas, and other designated areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Work in pairs as required by site procedures.
• Support the client’s staff during challenging or difficult situations.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances, security concerns, and other incidents.
• Observe and report unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Help maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with client personnel and the security team.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Follow site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications and clearances.
