About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Emergency Response in Channahon, Illinois. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” requiring a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may be picked up across multiple sites, and hours can vary from part time to as many as 40 hours per week.

The listed pay rate is $21.65 per hour. The scheduled shift is Wednesday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. The position requires a TSA-issued TWIC and a valid driver’s license. Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement for the role and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law; applicable licensing requirements may also apply.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to drug screening as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
