About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in Burlington, North Carolina, serving a healthcare location. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supports access control, and assists patients, visitors, and staff professionally. The role also involves responding to security needs and communicating clearly with appropriate personnel.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR certification, customer service experience, access control and badge experience, and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following site protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures according to site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security concerns to the appropriate supervisor or site contacts.
