About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring unarmed Security Officers for part-time weekend day shifts at a client site in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, in Schuylkill County. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, with starting pay of $17.00 per hour. Officers provide security at assigned client sites, patrol property, monitor access points, document activity, and respond to emergencies. The role requires a mandatory in-person orientation before work begins.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in various environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Flexible availability based on client scheduling needs.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must attend a mandatory in-person orientation before beginning work.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence at assigned client sites.
• Patrol the property, monitor access points, and identify safety or security concerns.
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports using Belfry Software.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
• Enforce client policies and site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and fellow officers.
• Follow company and client-specific security protocols.
