This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities from the dispatch post.
  • Monitor communication channels, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the timely dispatch of security-related personnel to incidents, alarms, and operational needs across the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining detailed logs, updating supervisors, and relaying information to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm systems, access activity, and other dispatch technology to help identify unusual activity, support situational awareness, and communicate relevant updates to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete reports, maintain dispatch records, and support shift handoffs by documenting incidents, actions taken, and outstanding security-related concerns for the manufacturing and industrial location.
