As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide strong customer service, and support daily operations with clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, exterior, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report access control issues or policy violations.
Support daily operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following post orders for unarmed patrol coverage.
