As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or policy violations in assigned reports.
  • Support emergency response activities by assisting with de-escalation, directing pedestrian traffic, and providing clear information during alarms, evacuations, and other urgent events.
