As a Security Officer Incident Communications in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support teams through clear communication and timely documentation. Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive and relay routine and urgent calls, and coordinate the dispatch of personnel to incidents, service requests, and other security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and communicating updates to supervisors and/or site contacts.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other site technology to help identify unusual activity and support timely reporting and response within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting dispatch operations and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and activity records.
