As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Rocklin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a patrol officer in a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to utility-related facilities and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, and/or unsecured entry points.
• Support daily operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders, and following post orders for routine and emergency situations.
