About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location in Portland, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication. You will support a secure environment through routine patrols, observation, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response protocols.
Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
