About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed roving patrol Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in residential settings in South Dennis, Massachusetts. The officer will monitor and patrol residential areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. The role calls for professionalism, clear communication, teamwork, reliability, integrity, and a people-first approach. This is a part-time position paying $25.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Officers can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The position includes paid training and access to career growth opportunities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and property policies, and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations, escalating matters according to established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with residents and site staff.
