About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol a residential property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide customer service to residents and visitors. You will use communication and technology skills to document observations and respond professionally to routine concerns. The role is based in Irvington, New York, and the listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Pay is $18.65 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local law; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Support access control activities and document observations.
