About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Liverpool, New York, you will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, primarily driving assigned areas, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns and provide customer service and communication to personnel, visitors, and vendors.

Requirements

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain required logs, and report security concerns according to site procedures.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
