About The Position

Vi at Bentley Village is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a day shift. The role is part of the resident services team and is responsible for helping ensure a safe and secure community for residents and staff. The officer monitors the community and ensures a quick response to medical or mechanical emergencies. The schedule is a 12-hour shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The position requires compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Requirements

• Valid and current driver's license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness and ability to become certified.
• Ability to assess and conceptualize the security needs of the community and act accordingly, especially in emergency situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good judgment and ability to work with confidential information.
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
