About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Armed Site Patrol in Tomball, Texas, for an assigned chemical and petrochemical site. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary from week to week based on shifts claimed, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed. Pay is $21.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

The officer will provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, conduct armed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and perform armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws, client requirements, and company and site procedures. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening and participation in industry-specific security training.

Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Perform armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws, client requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
