About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Humble, Texas. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that schedule. The role also allows the officer to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially building up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The scheduled shift is Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Pay is $17.25 per hour.

The officer provides security and customer service at the assigned site, responds to incidents, conducts armed patrols, monitors access points and activity, and maintains required records. Applicants must meet the stated armed-certification, age, education, and driver’s-license requirements, and are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity for unusual conditions; report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required records in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.
