About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense billing operations location in Grand Prairie, Texas, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, vendors, and the site. The driving post involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, communicating professionally, responding to security-related concerns, and helping create a welcoming environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $21.01 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, the exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report security-related conditions, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures and confidentiality requirements.
