About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time TWIC - FM 1006 in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and security-related operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor personnel and vehicle entry and exit, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and potential hazards to designated site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
