As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, releases, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitors and deliveries, and directing personnel in accordance with site-specific entry procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
