About The Position

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radios, and electronic communication systems; dispatch appropriate personnel and resources in accordance with site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor or contractor communications, and other required documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established protocols.
  • Monitor access points, cameras, and facility activity to help support security-related operations and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
