As a Security Officer TWIC Required in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and emergency response activities. Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, restricted-area concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
