Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post in an automotive location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, issuing access credentials when required, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, receive deliveries, and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related activity in the lobby and reception area.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and records related to visitor management, incidents, and/or unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
