About The Position

As a Security Officer Welcome Center Concierge in Fort Lee, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Professional at a residential location, where you will welcome residents and guests, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations from a stationary post. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk duties, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, documenting arrivals and departures, and communicating with residents and property staff as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following property protocols and reporting details to Allied Universal and/or site management.
  • Observe front desk activity and security-related systems, report unusual activity, and support residential operations with clear communication and accurate recordkeeping.
