About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Hospital Response Driver in Jasper, Tennessee. The role serves healthcare clients by helping maintain a secure environment for hospital patients, visitors, and staff. The officer monitors and patrols hospital areas, responds to security-related incidents, supports access control, and may assist with sensitive areas including the morgue. The position involves driving and requires a valid driver’s license. The scheduled hours are Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Willingness to receive required hospital vaccinations.
Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
Ability to restrain individuals.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills in incidents and critical situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and hospital operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and site-specific access procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity according to site-specific reporting procedures.
Assist with sensitive areas including the morgue and restrain individuals when appropriate.
