About The Position

Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling various locations. They preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role includes providing customer service and information, conducting property tours, directing truck drivers and visitors, and using smartphone and tablet technology for timekeeping and report submission. Officers also identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity, and respond to emergencies with appropriate judgment and escalation.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Conflict resolution skills.
Strong communication skills.
Valid driver's license and must pass a Motor Vehicle Report.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities
