About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role pays $22.66 or more per hour. Applicants with armed guard cards may qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time work; a $3,000 bonus is offered for part-time work. A valid Nevada armed PILB license is required. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
Hold a valid Nevada armed PILB license.
Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
