About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Restraint Support in Asheville, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role supports security-related responses, including assisting with restrained individuals and morgue-area access, while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. The position is full-time and pays $21.68 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Support security-related responses involving restrained individuals and morgue-area access.
