About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Zeeland, Michigan, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service, communicate with team members and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document activities. The position is full-time and pays $18.58 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor site access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and follow established emergency response procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
