About The Position

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Operations in Goodyear, Arizona, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor access, screen individuals and materials, report security-related concerns, maintain a professional presence, help deter incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role is full-time and scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at a rate of $18.30 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles according to established access-control and screening procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following directed emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, loading areas, parking areas, and access points, and document observations and incidents.
