About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The role is based in Aberdeen and North East, Maryland, and offers second- and third-shift scheduling for an on-call officer, with 16 to 32 hours per week. The officer may need to hold over when needed and must be able to report to work in inclement weather.

The position pays $18.72 per hour. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, as well as a post-offer background check and drug screening.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a valid Maryland security license.
• Have prior security or logistics experience.
• Reside within a 30–40 minute radius.
• Be able to report to work in inclement weather.
• Be able to hold over when needed.

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
