About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a contract logistics location in Newton, Mississippi. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, support access control and screening processes, and provide professional customer service. The role involves carrying out site-specific security procedures and responding calmly to incidents and critical situations. Work conditions may vary by client site; this location has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents.
