About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in West Jefferson, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, staff, and property by providing customer service, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and responding to security-related needs. The position involves unarmed patrols, access-point monitoring, incident response, and accurate reporting. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.67 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific security procedures and participating in emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with property policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
Prepare clear, accurate reports about patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.
