About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Interface in Whitsett, North Carolina. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $16.89 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday from 12:00 AM to 08:00 AM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures and site policies at a technology-focused location. Duties include patrols, access and visitor management, incident response, and accurate reporting. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed work. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations before employment, where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access according to site policies, and assist with visitor management.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
