As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will support a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with patients, guests, and staff. You will help identify and report security-related concerns while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
  • Screen individuals entering designated healthcare areas in accordance with facility requirements, including directing visitors and communicating access restrictions.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, prohibited items, or potential concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate screening-related logs and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and facility representatives.
