Requirements

  • An active DoD TS-SCI clearance is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support site personnel during security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or access control issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policies, and report irregularities through established procedures.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or patrol findings, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders as needed.
