Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or delivery credentials, and support traffic flow for trucks, trailers, and personnel entering and leaving the location.
• Observe operations and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations that could affect daily business activity or require follow-up.
