Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or visitor access requirements, and maintain accurate front desk records in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, assist staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors with directions and front desk inquiries, and help to support orderly access to the location.
  • Observe activity at entry points and common reception areas, report unusual behavior or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and reporting.
