Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first, works with integrity, and brings a proactive approach to each shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly access and traffic flow at the location.
  • Assist with reporting, post orders, and/or communication tasks related to daily operations, incidents, and changing conditions across the site.
