Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first, works with integrity, and brings a proactive approach to each shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly access and traffic flow at the location.
Assist with reporting, post orders, and/or communication tasks related to daily operations, incidents, and changing conditions across the site.
