Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific policies, visitor management procedures, and front desk access protocols at a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations at the front desk using strong communication and problem-solving skills, and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
  • Answer phones, greet incoming guests, maintain visitor logs, and support security-related reporting and documentation for daily front desk operations.
  • Coordinate with site contacts, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership when appropriate to address alarms, access issues, and other security-related matters.
