As a Front Desk Officer at a busy automotive location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, assisting visitors, managing access, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for an automotive location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving guests, maintain visitor logs, and communicate with staff regarding appointments, deliveries, and/or access requests.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Support emergency response activities, document daily front desk and security-related events, and complete required reports with clear and accurate details.
