As a Security Officer Visitor Verification in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and report concerns. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
