You will greet visitors, verify credentials, and support daily operations through clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to control access for authorized personnel, vendors, and/or deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, yard, dock areas, trailer lots, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Document security-related incidents, visitor activity, and/or access control issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
