As a Security Officer Visitor Check In in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide courteous communication to employees and visitors. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive presence, incident reporting, and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution center by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic at designated entry points, report irregularities, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
