About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Access Driver in Bridgeport, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems, maintain a visible presence, and communicate professionally to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help support compliance with site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, providing clear reports of incidents, observations, and access-related activities.
