About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Access in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, contractor documentation, and delivery information before permitting entry in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery logs, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and assigned site areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
