As a Security Officer Visitor Access Driver in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will help maintain an orderly, security-related environment through clear communication and visible presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, document visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control logs.
  • Control vehicle, delivery, and trailer access at gates and receiving areas in accordance with site procedures; communicate with drivers and site personnel regarding entry requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
