About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Access Control in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and sign-out processes, and reporting unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving guests, and direct employees, vendors, and visitors to the appropriate department while following location-specific security-related policies.
  • Support incident response by documenting daily activity, maintaining accurate front desk logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns or critical situations.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions within the lobby and reception area through attentive presence, professional communication, and consistent application of post procedures.
