About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery discrepancies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor gates, entrances, loading areas, and/or designated checkpoints to help support authorized access, track visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse, yard, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, access issues, and/or operational irregularities in accordance with site policies.
