As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, hazards, and unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating with site personnel and/or first responders, and helping maintain orderly operations during changing conditions.
